OMG, I came here for the $5 tire pressure check. I have them check one of the tires especially, because it was repaired not too long ago at this same shop, and just making sure it is still holding up with no slow leak. I have come here before, in various vehicles, and been told no air was needed. This last time, they grossly overfilled the tires with air, as if they don't know how to check PSI. The tires were at 50 and 60 PSI. The correct amount of PSI is 36, with absolute maximum at 44. I was shocked when the dashboard monitor said "check tire pressure". I had forgotten that this truck has that feature. I couldn't believe that they would do something so dangerous as to not correctly inflate the tires. I went to another tire shop and had them removed the excess air, down to normal range. I have checked the tire pressure here, many times, before road trips, since they're right by the 210 Freeway. It really scares me that their negligence could have caused a blowout at highway speeds.

Had major tire damage caused by freeway debris. Thankfully had a spare and found Chuys a mile from incident. Quickly mounted tire on rim and balanced. Grateful they were open on a Sunday!

This establishment has sadly gone downhill over the years. I stopped by yesterday to get a used tire as one of mine was low on tread. Despite having a “cash only” sign out front, they did take cards. They also jacked their prices from $25 to $55 on used tires. Wanting to be a good patron, I accepted. They found a tire that was a fit for my car, but they went several times to the front to show it to the owner and back to the yard presumably to find an alternative. After a few rounds, they decided to go with the tire they picked out. When I asked what all the fuss about the tire, they assured me it was nothing to worry about. Sure enough, I have a flat tire today. Avoid this business.

I had an issue with needing trailer tires as I was traveling through Pasadena late on a Friday night. I slept overnight at the Firestone dealer hoping they would have what I needed. Early the next morning they recommended me to give Chuy a call. Chuy's had the trailer tires ready and said come on down. I limped into their yard and like a NASCAR pit crew, they quickly pulled their crew to replace all 4 of trailer tires and allow me to make it to my race event! Great service, price was fair and obviously service was exceptional! If you are ever in a bind or simply in need of quality, fast service...Chuy's is a great place to go. Thanks for helping me out!

Extremely Unsafe, Dishonest, and Hostile, Especially Toward Women I came here with a tire that wasn’t flat, just had a nail. I only wanted a patch. They claimed all 4 tires were bad, then admitted 1 was okay. I agreed to buy 3 used Bridgestones at $70 each. The price and brand were confirmed before they touched the car. When I went to pay, they tried charging $280, more than agreed. I checked the tires and realized one wasn’t even replaced. It was a Continental, my original tire, visibly balding with thread exposed. I took a photo. When I pointed it out, things escalated. The owner told the worker to reinstall the tire with two nails they had just pulled. He said, “Ah, pues así te vamos a tratar,” and the worker replied, “Sí, ponle ese.” They had all 3 of my tires, but chose the most dangerous one on purpose. I begged them not to. I told them it was unsafe, a hazard, they didn’t care. I felt targeted, unsafe, and powerless. It felt personal, like retaliation for calling them out. I was seconds from calling 911. Only when I started filming did they back off and put back one of my better tires. I paid for the 2 actually replaced and left shaken. I have videos and photos of proo
